Link to an Existing Document
To link to a document that is already in Drupal from a Page or other content types with the WYSIWYG editor.
Type your desired link text.
Highlight the link text.
Click the link button
In the “Search Content” box, begin typing the name of your file. Your file should appear in the list if it is available.
Click on your file to select it. It should appear in the “Target path” in the link window.
Click “Insert Link” to finish.
Upload a New Document
Remove spaces from document file names. Spaces will cause errors in your links.
Files must be smaller than 15MB.
To upload a new document from a Page or other content types with the WYSIWYG editor.
Type your desired link text.
Highlight the link text.
Click the link button
Click “Open File Browser” in the link window.
A new window will appear with the file browser.
Click “Upload”, then “Browse” to locate your file.
Double click or click “Open” to select your file.
Click “Upload”
Double click on your file (selected by default) or click “Insert File” to add it to the link window.
Your file will now be shown in “Target Path”. Click “Insert link” to finish.
